A little late for WIP Wednesday, but I have been feeling under the weather this week. I decided to take next_chapter_bookshop `s advice and make sure to rest. So, I have been working on my sister`s wedding sampler (She got married in June, oops! 🫣), which is the stunning Modern Botanical Wedding Sampler by counting_puddles (printed copies are available on our website)! Taking time for me and getting to actually enjoy one of my favorite hobbies helped me feel much better this week. Important lessons from my mom: a handmade wedding gift is not late if you give it to them by their first anniversary. Just squeezed this one in!!
I didn’t get a good FFO picture so swipe for a better picture of the stitching and then again for a better idea of the actual frame color.

I stitched #ModernBotanicalWeddingSampler by counting_puddles for my daughter and her new husband. While 11-16 was the day of their wedding, they were actually married on July 29, 2024, so I paid homage to that date with the tiny Roman Numerals at the bottom left. I used the called for everything and thoroughly enjoyed the process of stitching this beautiful sampler.

A big finish for me! So excited to get this framed and gifted. Modern Botanical Wedding Sampler by counting_puddles. 28ct China Pearl Jobelan Evenweave by zweigartneedleworkfabrics. I used Mill Hill beads instead of French knots. I worked on this for a total of 53 days.
